Sika began in 1910 and through the century has continually evolved and developed in order to keep ahead of the competition, as well as meeting the needs of our customers within all elements of the construction industry.
Sika UK has now opened a new Research & Development Centre (R&D) situated at its Preston site which replaced a 100 year old single storey warehouse which is now fully operational and housing 20 scientists and support staff over three floors and which cost £2.5m, a clear signal that Sika is investing in its people, its customers and the UK.
It’s also ensures Sika is fit for the future, as chemistry and science evolves, Sika UK will be at the forefront of new technological advances, as the new R&D centre has more than doubled the size of the original labs.
