Message to our customers

The outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is continuing to impact people and businesses around the globe. Our top priority since the beginning has been the health and safety of our employees, customers, partners and communities, and this continues to remain the case today.

We recognise the many challenges that businesses face as a result of this crisis, and we understand the importance of business continuity as we navigate through unchartered territory, as a collective global community.

In March 2020, the UK Government announced a package of measures to help support businesses who may be experiencing difficulty caused by the COVID-19 disruption. With the rapid changing nature of the virus outbreak, information and advice from the government can change quickly too. We therefore wanted to take this opportunity to highlight some of the changes to the government support schemes that may prove to be helpful to you.

The Bounce Back Loan Scheme (BBLS):
The Bounce Back Loan Scheme (BBLS) is a new scheme designed to enable smaller businesses to access finance more quickly during the coronavirus outbreak. The scheme helps provide financial support to businesses across the UK that are losing revenue, and seeing their cashflow disrupted, as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak and that can benefit from £50,000 or less in finance.

For further information on this scheme please visit the government website.

Extension of the Job Retention Scheme:
On Tuesday 12 May 2020, the Chancellor announced the Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme will remain open until the end of October. The scheme will continue in its current form until the end of July and the changes to allow more flexibility will come in from the start of August. More specific details and information around its implementation will be made available by the government by the end of this month.

You can find further information on this scheme and others on the government website.

We appreciate these are challenging circumstances, and we would like to assure you that we are committed to being your partner, to help support the needs of your business in any way we can. We have plans and procedures in place to continue to serve you with our products and services throughout this crisis, while also minimising the risk to your employees, our employees, and our partner networks.

We are truly grateful for your support and partnership during this time, as we all face this unprecedented challenge together.
