When designing and building education faclities, not only is there the need to satisfy necessary building performance requirement, but the process should aim to reduce the facility operating costs. With more than 100 years of experience, Sika’s solutions provide a single source for fully integrated and compatible products and system solutions for schools and colleges.

These capabilities can help you address many important issues in both new construction and refurbishment projects, and can also combine to help the business run efficiently and maximise the return on investment. Sika solutions are designed and proven to be energy-efficient, highly reliable and sustainable.

David joined Sika in 2016, with over 20 years experience in the construction industry. In that time he has been involved with various educational projects within South East England including the Building School Futures programmes, plus both new build and refurbishment projects at the University of Kent and University of Brighton campuses.

"Educational facilities are unique projects, more now than 10 years ago they are designed to be modern and inspiring environments. They are in constant use and ultimately are important assets to many that need them to function on a daily basis, with minimal disruption. Sika understands these challenges, through continuous research and development Sika can ensure that from basement to rooftop these valuable assets can be protected from the elements and with confidence can provide systems that provide creative options for designers, plus a longevity and high level of mechanical resistance to everyday use."
